info & rules
We can’t wait to have you all back this year. Music starts at 8pm on Friday (August 30th) and ends Monday morning (September 2nd). Get ready for daytime DJ sets by the pool and lake, two days of live bands, and late night tunes carrying you to the sunrise. Festival will take place rain or shine.
location
ZAP outdoorz is situated within the picturesque grounds of Camp Tall Timbers at 1115 Reflection Ln, High View, WV 26808, just a 2-hour drive from both the DC and Baltimore areas. The camp features a pool, lake, indoor and outdoor stages. Camp is set amidst hundreds of acres of wooded terrain perfect for hiking, camping, and all around exploring.
As a longstanding family-owned children's summer camp for over fifty years, we ask that you treat this place with the same care and respect as you would your own home. Located on private property, Camp Tall Timbers offers exceptional natural surroundings, far removed from residential areas, creating a uniquely tranquil environment.
Please be aware that reaching the camp involves navigating winding roads, so try to arrive during daylight hours. Approximately a mile and a half from the property, there is a gun range where gunfire may be heard in the late morning. If you have any concerns or specific questions regarding this, please don't hesitate to reach out to us.

accommodations
If you are tent camping, there will be one main designated area. That said, you are welcomed to venture into the wooded areas within the property bounds for a more rustic experience. We highly recommend tent campers arrive before the sun sets on Friday August 30th so you have the daylight to set up and time to find a nice shady spot. We are doing our best to increase shading for campers in addition to night time path lights. That said, please expect all sorts of weather and darkness, this is all part of the experience. Come prepared!
We have a glamping option that comes with an already set up canvas tent, twin bed, & power. There are 2 person, 4 person, and 6 person options. We also offer group cabins for rental. To reserve one, visit the ticketing page to view the total number of beds and the fee for the entire cabin. You and your group can then coordinate to fill and share the costs. Our cabins come equipped with twin beds, power, showers, and toilets. Please bring your own bedding for glamping and cabin rentals.
transportation
The preferred way to get to camp is by car. We will have a designated parking lot for all attendees. Each car must purchase one parking pass. Remember, it is not car camping so pack light, you will need to carry your load.
If you would like to offer a ride or need a ride we have set up this Discord server for the festival, please ask around in the chat and coordinate carpooling: https://discord.gg/GNxxBd47nS

facilities
Camp Tall Timbers is a cherished family-owned private property, and we everyone must treat it with respect or they will be asked to leave. Each aspect of the property was lovingly handcrafted by generations of family, and we're privileged to call this space our home for the weekend. The grounds feature 24/7 shower and bathroom facilities, along with plenty of portable toilets near all the stages. Clean drinking water will be readily available throughout the music and camping areas. Please be aware that cell phone service is limited onsite, so we recommend downloading any necessary PDFs or information ahead of time. This year, we'll have physical copies of maps and schedules posted around the property, along with handouts upon arrival. This festival takes place immersed in nature, it will be dark at night! Enjoy the beautiful lake and pool, but please refrain from swimming unless a lifeguard is on duty. Feel free to bring your own floaties.
Stay tuned for an updated site map, set times, and activities schedule, coming soon!
rules & conduct code
These rules attempt to capture the standard of love and care that we expect from one another at ZAP outdoorz. For three days, it’s our goal to fashion a safer space where people feel comfortable to express themselves and take healthy risks. That vision requires that everyone treat each other with respect. If you violate someone, you will be removed without compensation. Please keep others in mind and have a blast.
There is an EMS/medic house in addition to a safer space deescalation zone. There will be community monitors on duty wearing lighted wristbands ensuring the safety of our attendees. We will also be partnering with Celestial Spaces. Please take care of yourself and others, we are about 40 minutes away from a hospital.
ZAP outdoorz is a space free of harassment of any kind. Any form of hateful behavior is not tolerated here. “Yes” means yes and “no” means no. Pay attention to people’s signals and learn their boundaries. Wasteful behavior is not tolerated. Leave no trace. Use trash bins for anything & everything.
Purchasing a ticket to this festival is an automatic agreement of the above rules & regulations.
what to bring
Please pack lightly and try to just bring the essentials you need for a comfortable weekend. When preparing, keep in mind that you won’t be able to drive right up to where you will be resting your head.
Rain is always possible! Don’t bring any valuables.
